Why Are You Here?

Who Is This Guide For?

Odds are you are doing research into affiliate marketing because you heard it could be a good way to make an income working for yourself from home. You want to find out more about it before you decide if it's really something you want to try and do.

Right from the start there are two things I want to tell you about affiliate marketing:

  1. Anyone telling you it is a means to make money fast and easy is flat out lying to you. It takes some time and effort to make money from affiliate marketing. Like with any new job, there are things you need to learn and apply in order to be successful at it. It's fun work, but it still is work.

  2. Anybody trying to sell you a 'how to' guide or tell you that you need to pay a fee to get started is scamming you. You don't need anything but a computer with a WiFi connection to start doing this. So put your credit and debit cards away. What I am sharing with you is not going to cost a thing.

Are you looking to start working for yourself online from home and be your boss? Perhaps you just need help paying off some medical bills? Or maybe you want to save money for retirement, or supplement your retirement with some extra income? Maybe you want to have freedom to travel and work anywhere around the world where you can bring a laptop and have access to Wifi…?

There are many reasons why a person may be researching affiliate marketing. For me and my wife, we were getting tired of living paycheck to paycheck and barely making ends meet. We wanted more out of life. We wanted more time to ourselves and our family. We wanted freedom.

So without rambling on let's jump right into this thing called affiliate marketing.

What Will Be Covered In This E-Book

I am going to explain to you as simply as I can how affiliate marketing works. I am laying out each section of this book in a particular order to present you with the overall big picture of the following things:

  • What is affiliate marketing and how does the process work to make money.

  • Why do people shop online, and how is it that affiliate marketing is a growing field of online work.

  • Is affiliate marketing a good fit for you as a home business, and what are the perks.

  • What do you need to get started & can you start this for free.

  • How to succeed at affiliate marketing and what you need to learn.

  • Cost to do business / domain and web hosting.

  • Best places for website hosting.

  • Don't spend any money when starting out, this shouldn't cost you anything.

  • How to get started.

Please try to avoid skipping around. Read the entire e-book first all the way through, it's not very large. Then go back and reread any sections that you need to.

What Is Affiliate Marketing?

The best way to tell you what affiliate marketing is and how it works is to provide you with an example of what it is that I do to make money online. I have been working as an affiliate marketer since late 2015. By mid-2017 I have been making four thousand dollars per month doing what I am going to describe to you below.

Ready? Here we go…

I have a variety of hobbies that I enjoy. One of them is fly fishing. Because I know a lot about fly fishing I created my own niche website about my passion for it. Starting my own website was easy. In this day and age you can have your own website up and running within minutes, and it doesn't have to cost you anything.

Once I created my fly fishing website, I started blogging about some fishing trips I have been on, some river and streams I have fished on or want to fish on, I even provided some fly fishing tips for my readers. I also write product reviews about my fishing gear.

Writing product reviews on my gear is how I make money. People who share my interest in fly fishing do searches on Google, Bing, and Yahoo. They are looking for fishing tips, fishing stories, and looking for product reviews to read before buying themselves new gear.

When I write product reviews I provide a link to an online retailer where people can go to buy that product. When readers click on that link and go to that online retailer and buy that item, I make a sales commission.

That is affiliate marketing.

That is how many people are starting to earn nice incomes online working from home.

I'm sure you have some questions – stick with me, I will answer them. Just keep reading… because this is going to get good.

***Personal Tip: Many places online want you to signup with them and pay them money to start learning to be an affiliate marketer. DON'T PAY ANYBODY ANYTHING WHEN STARTING OUT DOING THIS.

Online Retail Sales Commissions

Affiliate marketers make their money by suggestion to people where they go online to buy product. The online retailers pay people like me to send people to their websites. They pay me with sales commissions on any item a person buys.

Most every online retailer has an affiliate program you can sign up for to promote the products they sell. It costs NOTHING to sign up as an affiliate to the big online retailers.

Some retailers you may have heard of with affiliate programs; Amazon, Walmart, Target, Macy's, Cabelas, Tiffany's, REI, ClickBank, etc… etc… If a retailer does any serious online selling through an e-store, they are likely to have an affiliate program you can sign up for. And like I said, it costs nothing to sign up under those retailers.

Guess what? Remember that example above about my fly fishing website? Well let's say I write a review on my latest fly fishing pole and somebody finds my blog post and reads it and decides to buy the fishing pole. They click on my link for the pole that sends them to Amazon where they can buy it. Once there they buy the pole… and then they decide to buy a new crock-pot and a 40 inch TV. I also make a commission on the crock-pot and TV!

Anything that person buys from Amazon during their visit, even if I didn't write about it and provide a link for it on my website, will earn me a sales commission when they buy it. And if that same person goes back within twenty-four hours and buys more stuff after visiting my site, I also make a sales commission on those items as well.

It gets better! If that same person on their visit to Amazon sees something they like but don't want to buy it at that moment they may add that item to their shopping cart to buy later. I will earn a commission on those items if they buy them anytime within the next 90 days.

A person once clicked from a blog post I wrote about a fly fishing reel I like and went to Amazon. They didn't buy the fishing reel, but they did buy a $1400.00 memory foam mattress. I made $112 in sales commission from a single order. And that wasn't the only sales commission I made that day.

So you can see how making money as an affiliate marketer works. Online sales are booming, and it's only going to increase.

Online Sales Are Booming

Here is an interesting fact: In 2015 all the online sales in North American totaled over $335 billion dollars. By 2020 that number is expected to hit 520 Billion.

Another interesting fact: In 2016 out of all the online sales that took place that year in North America, Amazon captured a whopping 53% of those orders.

More and more people are buying items online. The reasons for this trend are numerous and here are a few:

  • They don't have to fight crowds and checkout lines at retail stores.

  • They can usually find exactly what they want online.

  • They can usually find what they want for a cheaper price online.

  • They can possibly get it shipped to their house or work with no shipping charges.

  • More online choices, better able to make product comparisons and do research.

  • Faster, less time consuming

As an affiliate marketer I cash in on the money that exchanges hands online between consumers and places like Amazon and REI where I do most of my affiliate linking to.

Online sales are only going to keep increasing. Every year you hear about retail stores going out of business and malls shutting down. That's happening because more and more consumers are turning to online shopping. They are buying anything and everything online. It doesn't matter what the product is, cheap or expensive, people are buying online at increasing numbers.

It's a sad thing to think about, as I had a lot of fun hanging out at malls as a teenager, but online retail is here to stay. We are going to continue to see more retail stores go out of business unless they can themselves transition to online sales. Walmart, Target, and many other large retailers are doing just that.

Is Affiliate Marketing A Good Fit For You?

Affiliate marketing is a great way to earn some extra money for paying off bills. It also is a great way to save money for vacation, college, future large purchases, retirement, and any number of things.

It is also a fantastic way to become an online entrepreneur and have it eventually become your only job. Yes, you can make a full time income from affiliate marketing. But like I said, this is not a get rich quick means of making money. You need to put some time and effort into it, and if you do it will pay off.

Don't rush out and quit your day job. I'm making around $4k per month as an affiliate marketer. But I still work a day job. I'm paying off my mortgage fast, and my plan is to make sure I have no serious overhead bills before I quit and work from home full time. I'm getting close!

What are some of the perks of being an affiliate marketer?

  • I don't have to maintain any product inventory. I promote what online retailers are selling.

  • The online retailer handles all the purchase transactions… I just refer people to them to buy items that I review and recommend.

  • I don't deal with shipping.

  • I don't deal with returns.

  • I don't deal with faulty product or warranty issues.

  • I don't have to talk on the phone to anybody ever.

  • I get to take my home business with me if I want to move someplace else in the country or world… it's all online!

  • I can wear what I want to work.

  • I can work sitting on my couch, in my recliner, or from my home office.

  • I work when I want, and for how long I want.

  • I am my own boss.

  • No office politics like at a day job.

  • No commute to work and back again.

  • I currently work about 2 hours per day and am making around $4k for my efforts.

  • Making a passive income: many of the products I reviewed and wrote about a couple years ago are still being found and making me money. Imagine doing an hour's worth of work and getting paid for that hour for several years?

What are some of the negatives of being an affiliate marketer?

  • You have to motivate yourself to work. If you don't work, nothing is going to happen.

  • You don't make money right away when starting, or at least most people doing this don't. It can take a few months before money starts coming in.

  • Most people need to have more than one niche website to make a full income to live on. However there are a few people I know who have a single site that earn them more than enough. I currently have a few websites I focus on that earns me that monthly income.

  • Learning how to be successful at affiliate marketing takes time. Like with any new job there are things you need to learn and apply. Luckily you can learn as you go, just like I did. I'll tell you how I did it.

Now that you know the pros and cons of affiliate marketing are you still interested in learning more and maybe getting started?

What You Need To Get Started

If you have a computer at home with access to the internet you can get started today and it will not cost you anything. Like I said before, don't ever pay anything to anyone to get started doing this. Anyone asking you to pay them for their business plan on affiliate marketing is scamming you.

The thing that scares most people away from doing affiliate marketing is that they need to have a website. Please don't let that worry you. I assure you that getting a website up and running is very easy. It takes just a few minutes. Keep reading and I'll get into that in more depth further on.

There are just a few basic things you need in order to get started doing this. I'll discuss them in turn below:

The first thing you need is an idea to create a niche website on. A niche website is a website that focuses primarily on one thing. As an example I have a website that focuses on fly fishing.

It is highly recommended that any niche website you create, especially if you are starting out as an affiliate marketer, is based on a hobby you have or something you know a lot about. The more focused the niche the better.

The reason you want to pick a hobby or a passion you have is because of this: You are going to have to write (blog) about your hobby on your website. It is far easier to write about things you have considerable knowledge about, than it is to write about things that you know little or nothing about.

For me fly fishing was easy. I know a lot about it and have years of experience doing it. So for me it is easy to write all things related to my hobby of fly fishing. I know tips I can share, I know about rivers and streams and reading water signs for fish, I know about my gear backwards and forwards – so it's easy to write about. Plus it makes doing the 'work' more fun. If I can't be out fly fishing, writing about it and making money from it makes the work enjoyable.

Any hobby you have is likely going to be a good idea for a niche website. If there is product related to your idea that you can recommend people check out and buy, then you probably have a good idea for a niche website that will work.

One way to be sure is to check on Amazon if they sell product that is associated with your hobby. Amazon is not the only online retailer you can sign up with to become an affiliate for, but they are one of the biggest online retailers and the company I suggest people work with when starting at as bloggers and affiliate marketers. The reason I recommend Amazon is because they are very easy to work with.

Here are some ideas you can explore, are any of these hobbies you have?

  • Hiking

  • Cooking

  • Fashion

  • Movies

  • Video games

  • Camping

  • Jogging

  • Fitness

  • Healthy eating

  • Skin care

  • Jewelry

  • Shoes

  • Crafting

  • Photography

  • Books / reading

  • Antiquing

  • Wood working

Do any of those ideas catch your attention? I suggest sitting down and making a list of ten things that are hobbies or interests you have. Then make a list of what products are associated with them that you could blog about.

Once you have those lists you should go online and check Amazon to see if they carry those products… chances are they do.

After you have an idea for a niche website you will need an actual website. There is no way around this. To make money online as an affiliate marketer you need to have a website.

The good news is that no longer do people need to be web designers, no longer do you need to know HTML programming or any other coding. You can literally pick out a website from looking at a visual picture of one that looks appealing to you. In just a few clicks of your mouse you can have website up and running on the World Wide Web.

It is really very easy to start a website. And once you have it you just need to start typing and adding content to it. That also is not that difficult, as navigating around a website and adding content is a lot like using a word processing program. If you have any experience using a smart phone, using a word processing program, or just messing around on the internet using a search engine like Google, you are going to have NO PROBLEM at all running a website.

You can get a website for nothing. That's right, it doesn't have to cost you a dime. In fact I strongly suggest that you use a 'free' website when starting out as an affiliate marketer.

If you want to own your own website than you would have to register the name of the website. It costs about $8 to $16 per year to register and own a website domain name. Pretty cheap, I know. But I still suggest you use a free website when starting out doing this.

Make sure you like affiliate marketing before you pay for and buy a domain name. You can use a free website that costs you nothing to start. I will tell you more about where to go for a free website further on in this e-book.

Once you have a website you need to have a place to host it. Guess what? If you use a free website it usually comes with a free web hosting service.

So like I said, as long as you have a computer and internet at home you can get started doing affiliate marketing free. No out of pocket costs to you.

If you wanted to pay for your own hosting it could cost anywhere from $3.99 per month to $299.00 per month.

I actually pay for my own hosting every month because there are perks that come along with it. My monthly cost to cover website hosting is roughly $29.00 per month. I'll go into buying your own domain and paying for web hosting and the perks along with it next… but again, when starting out as an affiliate marketer I strongly suggest you go with free domain and website hosting.

How Much Does Affiliate Marketing Really Cost?

As mentioned above as long as you have a computer with internet access already, you can start working as an affiliate marketer at no out of pocket cost.

You can get a free website and free hosting, which is a great way to start doing this type of work to see if you like it, before you invest time and money into it.

So what does it really cost to do this kind of work from home online?

I buy my website domains and own them, I also pay for web hosting on a yearly subscription. When it comes down to it, my monthly out of pocket costs is about $35 to $36. That's it. That's my average monthly cost to own and operate my various websites.

Again, go the free route. Make sure you like this before investing into doing this type of online business. Eventually if this is something you would want to stick with you will want to pay for your domains and hosting.

Here's why…

One of the things you will learn more about when you get into affiliate marketing is getting your website to 'rank' well in the various search engines like Google. The better your site ranks, the higher your potential is to earn more money as an affiliate marketer.

Out of the all search engines out there, Google performs 64% of them. That means 64% of the people doing searches on the internet use Google to do their searching.

You want to make Google happy with your website. There is a thing called 'site trust'. And Google does not like things about websites that causes Google to have low 'trust' in a site. The lower Google trusts your site, the less likely you are to get good rank results for your website.

One of the things Google does not like is free websites. Well, it's not that they don't like them as much as they don't give them a lot of trust. The way Google looks at it is like this: if a person is willing to spend a few bucks and own their own website domain, it must be worth giving their site more trust.

More trust, better rankings in the search engine results. That means more potential to make money.

With that in mind let's look at web hosting. Hosting can be free, cheap, or very expensive. The cost of web hosting is usually dictated by the type of service or services you get with the hosting package.

  • Free web hosting: Costs you nothing! Great for messing around and testing out a few things. Good for people who want to blog or have a website but don't plan to monetize it to earn money. Free hosting usually is provided on slow servers without any help desk support. That means your website loads slower (bad), and you have nobody to help you when something goes wrong with your site.

  • Cheap web hosting: Cheap is anything between $3.99 and $60.00 per month. With this type of hosting there are usually various upsells or services you can sign up for. Things like a faster server (good), more email address, I.T. help desk support, site security, routine backups, extra domain hosting… etc… For what you would need as an affiliate marketer, I would expect the most you need is what I pay for per month, which is around $29.99.

  • Very expensive hosting: This type of web hosting is for large sites owned and operated by corporations. This can cost hundreds to maybe even thousands of dollars. You in no way need to even think about this type of web hosting. Total overkill.

Just like Google shows more trust towards websites that have registered and paid for domain names, they also give more trust and better rank results to sites that have faster web hosting.

Yep, the faster your website loads the more preference it will get in search rankings. So it pays to eventually pay for your domain and hosting. Luckily it's a pretty minor cost in the grand scheme of owning and running our own online business.

***Personal Tip: Don't buy a domain name or pay for hosting until you know without a doubt you really want to make the investment into being a blogger and affiliate marketer.

How Much Time Do I Need To Invest Of Myself Into Being Successful At Affiliate Marketing?

Usually after people ask about how much it could cost them to get into affiliate marketing they ask how much time they will need to invest into it each day.

I am not going to lie or sugarcoat this; the more time you can put into this the faster your website will grow and the sooner it will start to earn you money. That is a hard fact.

My suggestions is that if you have any free time at all, spend as much of it as you can working on your website or websites. Essentially what you are going to be doing is writing (blogging) about the hobby or passion you are focusing on as your niche site. The more content you add to your site, the better chance it will have of being found.

Each blog post you write is a chance for your website to get found by people doing searches for the things you write about.

Again, Google likes sites that have good information on them. The more information you provide, the more chances there are to get found.

For me, going back to my fly fishing website, I'll blog about how I spent my day yesterday fishing Miller's Creek and what bait I was catching trout on. I may have taken some pictures and share them too. Another blog I may write could be about how I disagree with a fly fishing article I read in Field & Stream magazine. I may write another blog about a new pair of creek boots I bought – and provide a link to where people can buy them online.

Basically you need to write and add content to your website. Each new blog post is a new way for people to find your website.

You don't have to write huge blog postings, but most experts agree that it's good to have at least 700 to 1200 words on each blog you write. More is better, but not always necessary, it just depends on what you are wanting to share with people who could end up finding your site.

Most blogs I write and add to my website consist of around 900 words. Some have only a couple hundred words, some have over 1500 – it just depends what I am writing about and want to share in the blog post.

I mentioned above I work about two hours per day on my websites. That is probably average for somebody like me who has websites that have been built up and established. Somedays I may work three hours.

If you can only work an hour per day, then work that hour. If you can work more, then work more. The point is that if you put the time into this the work will eventually pay off. The more time you can invest, the sooner that will happen.

If you have a day off focus a big chunk of it towards working on your website.

If you are working a full time job and have kids and a spouse, finding time can be tough. But if you really want to make something better for yourself, and see affiliate marketing and owning your own online business as a means to get there, then you will find the time you need to make it work if you really want it to work.

Most people who start doing this don't begin earning any money from their efforts until a couple months pass. Part if this is because Google doesn't like websites that are new, they aren’t trusted much. As a website ages and more content is added to it Google will start showing trust, usually around month 3 or 4, and that is when some sales from organic traffic start.

Until that time, if you learn to leverage social media to push traffic to your site, you could possible earn faster.

I tell most people getting into this type of work to give it four to six months. I started seeing results around that time, and then by my twelve month things doubled.

Like I said, this is not a get rich overnight internet scheme. It requires some time and effort to build up and get trust with Google and the other search engines. One that happens… good things follow!

Imagine only having to work a few hours per day from home on a couple websites you own and earning $4000.00 plus per month, or more! Imagine if you could be doing that in 1 to 2 years. Is that a goal worth working towards? If it is, keep reading.

What You Need To Learn To Be Successful At Affiliate Marketing

The tools you need to do this are a computer, an internet connection, a website, and website hosting. Aside from those tools there are things you will need to learn about when writing content onto your website.

When you have a website you want people to find it through organic searching. That means that people are typing 'keywords' into search engines like Google, Bing, and Yahoo when they want to look for specific things on the internet.

Examples of keywords are: "Best crockpot", "How to work at home", "two man tent reviews"…etc…etc… Those might be keywords people use to type into Google to search for information on something they want to learn more about.

In order to make money as an affiliate marketer you need to have people find your website. If they can't find it then you can't make money.

In order to improve the chances of people finding your website you need to learn about some of the following things:

  • Keyword research: You need to know how to figure out what keywords people are using that might lead them to your niche website.

  • On Site SEO: SEO stands for 'Search Engine Optimization'. There are things you can do when writing your blog posts that will make them stand out and get noticed by the search engines like Google. Things that can help your website 'rank' higher in the search results. The higher you rank in searches, the easier it is to get found, and the more money you can make.

  • Apply Social Media for Business: Learn how to engage people on the various social media sites that will direct them to your website so you can make more money.

  • Apply and use Google's Analytics: Understanding and using some free web tools that Google provides such as Search Console and Analytics can really help increase your money making potential.

  • Understanding website sitemaps and how to submit them to the big search engines.

  • And more …

The items I pointed out above are HUGE when it comes to things you need to learn to be successful at affiliate marketing. There are places you can go online and learn about all of them and more. For free!

Again, people will try and sell you information on how those things apply to affiliate marketing. Don't buy into any of that. It's free to learn! I can and will point to where you can get information and learn all of those bullet points above, and more, further below as you keep reading. And I am not charging for you it. Free, from me to you.

If You Want To Really Succeed At Affiliate Marketing, Find A Mentor!

Back when I started my online business in affiliate marketing, I had a pretty rough time of things. I knew a little about computer and websites, but I didn't know anything about keyword research, SEO, or the importance of on page SEO. I was learning as I went about my work, and I was making mistakes along the way.

I was determined to succeed at affiliate marketing, so I kept my head down and pushed forward. It was tough, I will admit, but it was also a lot of fun learning new things and working towards my goal of financial freedom and more personal time.

Eventually I found a mentor who was willing to help me out and answer questions I had. Let me tell you, that made a huge difference for me and my websites I was blogging on and doing product reviews from. Things I had been doing wrong with my website designs and layouts I quickly corrected… and when that happened I started making more money because my websites were getting noticed by the search engines.

***Personal Tip: Find a mentor that has experience in affiliate marketing and use them for guidance as you build up your online business.

Guess what? I can be your mentor. I'm glad to do it, actually. In fact, it is one of the reasons why I created this e-book; I wanted to share with people how they can do what I am doing online, and that is learn to do online affiliate marketing and be their own boss.

Having a mentor and support group around you from people who have been through this before, or are going through now, is extremely beneficial.

Further below I will tell you how you can reach out to me in times of need if they ever arise.

  • Have me as a mentor

If any of that sounds good and you want to give affiliate marketing a try, then do it. I'll show you how to get started.

You Need A Website And Hosting:

The first thing you need to do is find a place where you can get a free website and free hosting and create a user account. Creating a user account requires you to provide an email address and a password. Whatever you do, don't sign up with any online hosting company that requires you to pay them to sign up. This should not cost you anything!

There are a few places online where you can go and get a free website and hosting. However, if you want to utilize me as a mentor there is only one place to go: SiteRubix/Wealthy Affiliate. It's where I do all my web hosting for my websites.

When you create a user account there from the URL/Link below you get access to me through their user's network. All you need is an email address to sign up.

Clicking on or using the following URL will bring you the account creation page and link our accounts so we can easily communicate with each other. It's how I can help mentor you.

Here is the URL:

When you create a free user account you get access to using two free websites and their free web hosting.

Use the free services they provide there, test things out, ask me questions, see if you like affiliate marketing. Then, and only then if you decide to make it a focused online business should you sign up for their premium webhosting service. The yearly premium hosting service costs $359.00, which works out to less than $30 per month, and allows you to host up to 50 websites on their servers for that one cost.

Their premium hosting service provides many perks, including; fast server hosting, 24 hour I.T. help desk support, website security package, website backup, hosting for up to 50 websites, live help, free SSL certificates for websites, private messaging, website feedback platform, website comment platform, website analysis, personal website email, and much more.

They also provide a means to pay for your own website domain names when you are ready to register one. Average costs is around $13.99 per year per website domain you want to own, sometimes a little more, sometimes a little less, depending on the domain name you register.

Once again, don't pay for anything until you are ready to make a serious job out of affiliate marketing. It makes no sense to pay for hosting until you know without a doubt you want to do this. Even if you never sign up for their premium hosting package, you will always have the use of those two free websites and free hosting.

Perks for Signing Up With SiteRubix/Wealthy Affiliate:

Along with getting me as a mentor, you also get some free training on getting a website started and ready to monetize for affiliate marketing.

Remember above when I talked about needing to learn things such as SEO, keyword research, and sitemaps among others? Well, if you do decide to sign up for their premium hosting you get access to a very detailed online training program for free at no additional charge. One of the things I love about them is that they have no upsells. You get it all when you go to premium hosting.

The online training is a combination of written material as well as videos you can watch that walk you through certain aspects of affiliate marketing. It is all very helpful.

Final Thoughts

Affiliate marketing is an interesting way of making money online. I've been doing it for a close to two years now and have been successful at it. I originally wanted to utilize it to make extra spending cash and help with month to month bills. I was surprised when I researched further into it and found it is a viable way to make a full time income, and then some.

Website building and affiliate marketing is becoming a big business. There are even small businesses out there that build niche websites and then sell them for hundreds of thousands of dollars. It really is amazing.

My personal plan is to add another website or two on top of the four I already run and push to make closer to $8k per month. My wife and I want to pay off our mortgage and quit our day jobs. We are getting close to doing just that!

The best way to find out if this is something you want to do it is to start for free, especially if you are undecided on it. Don't pay anyone for their 'proven system' that they claim works fast and easy. Anybody telling you that is trying to scam you out of money. The only thing you should have to worry about paying for is owning a domain name and web hosting, that's it. Those are legitimate expenses.

About The Author And This E-book

Thanks for reading my e-book on affiliate marketing. In the summer of 2017 I decided I wanted to share some of my knowledge with would be entrepreneurs looking to start an online business.

I had done extensive research into various online work from home jobs, and found very little out there that was compelling, paid enough, and would allow me more free time in my life. My intent at first in searching for online work was to supplement my monthly spending expenses and provide some extra spending cash for my family.

Eventually when I discovered affiliate marketing, I began to see it more as a means to break away from my daily routine of working for an employer. I knew that if I worked hard at it, I could eventually build up an online niche website presence that would provide more than enough money for my wife and I to live comfortable month to month.

Work from home, work less, more money, more free time to do the things we want to do. That's the dream of many people. Luckily my wife and are close to making that dream come true.

With my online success I wanted to share what I had learned with others. To that end I started a new website, Earn Your Success.

On that website I promote affiliate marketing as a viable means to make an online income. I also provide hints and tips on SEO and website creation. But that's not all, as I also use that site to review other potential online jobs… mostly scams. There are many scams out there.

If I can learn to do affiliate marketing and be a success at it, anybody can.
